Data is the engine room behind global innovation. But for that engine to run smoothly, the data must be flawless. Nortempo Seleção is looking for a Data Quality & Governance Specialist to join the Porto-based hub of a world-leading expert in ocean infrastructure and sustainable energy.

In this role, you will not just monitor data; you will design the frameworks that ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across a complex global operation.

Your Mission:

• Design and execute Data Quality management processes (accuracy, timeliness, and consistency) across master and operational data.

• Monitor data quality metrics and establish KPIs to drive continuous improvement.

• Lead Data Governance working groups and committees to drive organizational initiatives.

• Collaborate with Data Stewards and Owners to resolve quality issues and align with global standards.

• Conduct regular data audits and maintain metadata repositories/data dictionaries.

• Foster a culture of data stewardship, providing training and guidance to users across the organization.

What You Bring:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in Data Quality or Governance (at least 2 years in a leadership/managerial role).

• Expertise: Proven track record in developing data quality strategies and managing complex data infrastructures.

• Tech Stack: Hands-on experience with tools like Collibra, Informatica, or similar platforms, including cloud environments.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master’s or certifications like PMP, ITIL, or AWS are a plus).

• Language: Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory for global collaboration.

• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, creative thinking, and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
